THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 1080-I & 1080-P

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN
1080 I & 1080 P

In the old day’s when there was no programming in HD I sold HD TV’s because it eliminated the Horizontal Scan lines. Now even though we don’t have a 1080P transmission yet you would want to buy a 1080P set to eliminate the screen-door-effect. Simple enough! No rocket scientist stuff here! If you plan on buying ANYTHING in the future, ie; Playstation 3, Bluray, HD DVD player, etc. YOU want 1080P.

THE DIFFERANCE BETWEEN 60HZ & 120HZ

LCD’s are the slowest of all the TV types the fix to that is 120HZ. You can get 240HZ or higher. I’ve seen a BIG differance between 60HZ & 120HZ but not so much between 120HZ & 240HZ. So as long as you have 120HZ you will not see motion blur in action movies, sports, & gaming. By the way Plasmas do not have the motion blur problem and DLP’s are 200 times faster than LCD’s so they did not ever have motion blur.
